On christmas eve they gather in Carcavelos beach for a surf session, early in the morning. This year with extremely nice weather, sun and waves, I dressed my surf suite and stood by the shore, with water around my legs to get closer to the surfers, feeling the currents, the fresh water and dodging the tide, always trying to figure out who was where in the water.
It is one of the best christmas tradition I have experienced.
